Field Guide: The Free Illai States

The revolution gave Illai hope for a future. It’s time to discover what kind of future it won.

Illai is a world wracked by three thousand years of servitude. It is a cold, bitter planet that has won freedom from divine kings through a near-century of revolution, and steps tentatively into an uncertain future. It is a people hardened by frozen steppe and brutal, desperate combat. It is tattered banners flying in revolt. It is fistfights in the snow and retrofitted tractor-mechs tearing themselves apart.

For many people, it is home. 

Field Guide: The Free Illai States is a third-party supplement for Massif Press' Lancer setting and system created using Lancer RPG Template by Michael Prijatelj. 

It is also a personal worldbuilding project that has spun off into something wilder thanks to the encouragement of the Hearth-7 Lancer Discord. I did not write it with the expectation it would ever be read, and yet here we are.

It is unfinished. It has not been edited. The new frame is untested. But maybe one day it'll be done.
